IMPACT OF THE
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT SYSTEM
In recent years, a substantial amount of work has been focused on seventeen under performing schools in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area. The statistical data supplied by the Arizona Department of Education is limited to eleven schools. Other schools have begun to use the system so recently that comparative data is unavailable.
I realize that, at this point in time, the statistical data available is limited. However, the effectiveness of the System should not be discounted simply because the work is new and the sample is small. The gains in student achievement in the participating schools are so clear and the experiences described by administrators and teachers are so positive, that I firmly believe the CIS will make a difference in any school in any location. I suggest that you read Student Success: How To Make It Happen and then ask yourself, "Does this make sense to me?" If it does, I hope that you will try the System for a couple of reasons. First, I believe that you will like the result. Second, I invite you to get in touch with me to share your stories and your data so that the statistical analysis can continue. Contact
